These terms

These terms and the academy policies below apply to lessons with CforChords Music Academy. Continuing with lessons means you accept them.

Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed only after the applicable fees are paid. Students follow their assigned class timings and schedule.

Fees

Fees are paid at the beginning of the applicable month or session, and are set by the course or package you choose.

Fees are non-refundable. They cannot be transferred, carried forward, or adjusted against future classes unless CforChords specifically approves it. Delayed payment may mean classes are paused.

One-to-one classes

To reschedule, ask at least 24 hours before the class. Rescheduling depends on your teacher being free at the new time.

If your teacher arrives for a scheduled class and the student is not there, with no notice beforehand, the class counts as taken. A missed class with no notice is not refunded, adjusted or carried forward.

Group classes

Group classes run on request and on demand, when three or more interested students are in the same area or at a preferred location. They also depend on a teacher and a suitable place being available. Fees, timings, length and structure vary with the number of students, the location and the arrangements.

Group size and attendance may change during a programme. One student missing a group class does not qualify for a refund, a fee adjustment or a separate make-up class.

If a teacher cancels

If CforChords cancels a class, it is rescheduled or adjusted.

Home lessons

Home lessons depend on teacher availability and your location. Travel charges may apply more than 5 km from the CforChords centre.

Changes

CforChords may change class schedules, teachers, fees, locations or course structure when needed. CforChords may end a student's enrolment for repeated non-payment, misconduct or breaking academy rules.
